Had an awesome Sunday Sesh with a big group of mates the other day.
The thing is about Western Australians is we are pretty much famous for
Sunday Sessions.
What, you may ask, is this phenomenon?
Sunday Sesh

Short
for "sunday session". The act of getting together on a Sunday to
socialise and drink likely large amounts of alchohol.
"I
know we've been out Friday and Saturday, but fancy coming down to the pub for
a Sunday sesh?!".
"On my way." |
Basically, drinking on a Sunday, usually before work on Monday morning,
and not your conventional night out.
These nights require a very delicate balance of outfit.
Not too casual, or you won’t get let into clubs / bars and not dressy, or
its overkill. (“Chillout, its just a
Sunday Sesh”)
Some people of course always go over the top and wear short club dresses
and sky high heels and look way overdone with 2kgs of makeup plastered on their
face.
Some people as well look a bit UNDERdone as if they haven't put in much
effort. I personally dont ever wear flat shoes out, I'm a ery hardcore heels lover.
However, I dont normally go all up, keep the jewellery to minimum as well. Think
funky / edgy and cool. Jeans can work (skinnies for girls) with a nice top or a
summer dress rather than a party dress.
Of course, predrinks i.e. drinking in the afternoon when its not yet
acceptable to be in a pub, is a must. Heels can be hard in the backyard, so its
often a slight transformation thats needed, from flats to heels, or sandals and
shorts to a maxi dress.
Best drinks are by far Smirnoff, I love vodka mixers (plus they dont give
you hangovers on the Monday) and they are good for chilled out afternoons in
Summer, think Smirnoff Vodka, Lime & Soda J
Last Sunday I chose;
Silver Ra Ra Skirt, Black embellished shoulder top, Black, over the knee
suede boots.
(Im not sure why my pictures wont post upright - Im working on it)
So next Sunday, grab some girls and boys, get set up outside in the sun
and mix yourself some Smirnoff cocktails.
ThankYOU Smirnoff Cocktails
Kinda like Sunday brunch only without food and mimosas?
