The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in LA will
honour the memory and vision of designer Alexander McQueen through a
retrospective exhibit next year.
This is going to be a 100 piece exhibit from post grad to the
collection that was presented posthumously.
"Alexander McQueen was best known for his astonishing and
extravagant runway presentations, which were given dramatic scenarios and
narrative structures that suggested avant-garde installation and performance
art," curator Andrew Bolton said.
All this talk about McQueen has made me want to share with you
some of the awesome and intricate details of his latest S/S 10/11 collection;
I completely love the heirstyle and the shoes. Sarah Burton realized a great work....
