Was Melbourne Cup day and this is what I wore;


There aren't any shots of my full outfit unfortunately so these will have to do! My whole outfit cost under $100 which I think is not bad. I really hate spending money on dresses because I do not wear them very often at all!

We were seated in the Terrace Restaurant at Ascot, which was a fun day to be at the race, and I’ve never been to Ascot before as well. We were set up in amore of a hall though, compared to “a bingo hall with fascinators”. T was nice and air-conditioned though and we could walk straight outside to the top of the grandstand. A very fun (messy) day.

Far too many people were not dressed very well though, denim shorts were spotted, no headwear = :O , short and tight dresses more suited for clubbing than a day at the races. I did spend a large portion of the day checking out dresses hats and feathered headwear!
