Yes, theyre worth getting. Why? They come in season again and again and again.


Dont throw them out if you think you wont wear them again, only throw them out when they become old and gross. Note: denim can still be worn with a slight faded appearance and minor "wear & tear" i.e. deliberate-looking rips etc. (Dont ever cut them or try and rip them yourself!)

But when the bum bit fades, you have a really obvious thin worn out sections around your knees or they are stained / dont fit anymore / makes you look flabby - throw them out.

Makeup Artists = Love

Makeup artist do so many wonders on photo shoots, other than the annoying fact they seem to be considered far more important than stylists :S (we're equal and just as amazing & necessary!)


I love working with really creative and out there makeup artists who will play with colours and styles, any female can apply conventional makeup.

This is my favourite because I love white eyelashes! Dont ask me why, makes me think of little snowflakes resting along their eyelashes or something. So elegant and innocent!

Love, love this, I have been searching for ages for a really good one / nice one and in a style that I like. This is it.

I Love cowl neck tops, they really suit me and flatter my figure. The twist? The lacy / backless combo that I love as well. Backs are sexy!

Winter weather?

The weather has been so hot here – its no wonder these photos look appealing. Warm coats, scarfs and boots – I think I am a winter person for sure. But then when its actually cold you wish for those sunny days!

I cant wait until I see snow. What great photography work here, I really love this editorial!

This is a really effective editorial because the outfits are very realistic, as in you can see yourself or someone else actually wearing outfit combinations similar to this. I'm sure we have all sat on our couch in confusion after flipping through magazine which feature bizarre outfit combinations. Great for aesthetics, but not effective when imitated in real life! At the same time, its still a little bit edgy and different i.e. her hair!

Another thing I love is their website – and they way they have done up ‘looks’. A good technique in showing people how to wear their items, and something a little different!

Love shoes? Love Dresses?

Having recently styled the latest leather collection for Vangoh shoes I am happy to say this store is nothing short of impressive. Catering to ladies of all ages in the time I was in the store (less than 20minutes) a girl in her early teens came in to buy some awesome sandals (it is festival season guys!) and an elderly lady and her friend (think perhaps 60’s or 70’s) came in to buy heels.

As all heels are not sky rocket high and many shoes are very functional with the ability to walk around in them all day, it’s no wonder everyone will find something they like in this store.

Located in Subiaco and owned by husband and wife team Raj and Vanessa, their customer service is exceptional. Raj is often found ‘hanging out’ in the store, offering customers chocolates, tea and coffee. I think he does it simply because he likes to know his clientelle and genuinely does not pressure you to buy anything, but rather just enjoy their relaxed atmosphere.

I really love the new season collection, and would happy own any one of these shoes! We did the shoot down at Matilda Bay Restaurant (a big thankyou to them as well) and used clothing from the fantastic EM clothing store, located next door. Ladies, if you need an outfit for an event in the near future, please make time to pick a great pair of shoes and an amazing Australian designer cocktail dress.

I know I sound like I'm babbling in about how great they are so they like me :) but in truth, so many people that walked in the store were really impressed thankful, and would recommend the store to friends. I sent my own mum there, before I had even been asked to style their leather collection, that’s how much good feedback I had heard about their store. Cmon people, my own mum.

Anyway, I don’t have photos yet! And part of their website seems to be lacking pictures so i cant share anything with you at this stage other than a promise of an amazing advertorial!
