AHM Fashion Exchange!
Do you have clothes with tags on you’ve never worn? Do you have a wardrobe crammed full but still have nothing to wear? Or need an outfit for a special occasion?
Join thousands of other stylish Australians across the country this spring and swap clothes you no longer wear for something new-to-you and refresh your wardrobe at the ahm Fashion Exchange in Sydney.
Instead of spending hundreds on a new outfit, swap the one bought last month and impress for free. Bring and swap anything from shoes, bags, designer dresses or shirts, vintage hats, fascinators or even feather boas.

Style commentator and advocate of ahm Fashion Exchange events, Paula Joye, will be there to share her fashion wisdom and give personal style tips, along with a makeover area with beauty experts on hand.

Early bird check in and clothes drop from 10am – 12pm
Shop the swaps between 12pm – 3pm. Clothing can also be brought to swap during this time.
Any left overs will be given to charity.

LABEL MINISTRY
I have recently been introduced to an amazing new fashion initiative Label Ministry. I would love to share with you, my readers, all about this.
In case you havent noticed from my Facebook page I have recently relocated to Sydney! Still aiming to bring you the best of the local fashion world, but from the other side of Australia, I am attending the launch night of Label Ministry in November.
In the meantime, check out her info below;
Label Ministry is a new presence in the high fashion industry. An online brand showcasing top Australian designers, both new and established.
The Label Ministry brand connects professionals from the fashion industry with diehard fashionistas via an extensive social media network.
Label Ministry will shortly be launching its new online store to sell the stunning designs of its talented Australian designers.
Ultimately Label Ministry represents the glamour and excitement of live fashion events by its staging of soon-to-be-famous Label Ministry Runway Events.
Label Ministry's launch event is scheduled for November 2013, so keep your ears and eyes open!

Featuring two of Australia’s most influential players in fashion, Jackie Frank and Elle Persson, The Business Behind the Glamour presented by The West Australian Events Program, will provide a platform for Perth audiences to gain an insight into the commercial side of the fashion industry.
Both women have extensive CVs that include working in the fashion capitals of London and New York. Jackie returned home to launch the Australian edition of Marie Claire and in the past decade her editorial line up has inspired, informed and added a touch of style to the lives of Australian women.
Elle, after a stint at luxury brand Burberry, now heads up strategy and brand development for IMG Fashion, which represents the world's top fashion talent and produces leading events.

For the first time in a very long time, Miranda Kerr no longer headlined the show, instead Jessica Gomes was on the scene, looking beautiful and confident.
Check out the new trends of spring, PLENTY of white, white-on-white and monochrome to boot. Pare it back with your b right colours from last Spring to re-work your wardrobe!

STYLEAID 2013
Styleaid 2013 is on once again this year, and is promising to be bigger and better than ever. This lavish event is a key event on the fashion calendar and is a sell out each year so make sure you get your tickets early if you are interested.
The event will be held in the newly renovated Crown Perth, with 750 guests.
The event is run by a not for profit company, the WA AIDS council. The tickets start at $275 with possibilities of securing a table for your group, or purchasing a VIP experience.

I have found the most amazing site (not ever, but definitely top 10) and just had to share it with you.
With the motto "We couldnt decide whether we liked food or fashion more so we just stuck em together"...whats not to love?!
They have a tumblr, instagram and Facebook page so follow them in your preferred form of social media (Im only hoping they get a Pinterest account too! *hint hint*)
Here are a few awesome examples of ultra-cool pairings....
Ok ok, image overload - if you came this far well done! I just cant help loving how they have paired the fashion and food together, tying my interest for food styling right in with my love of all things fashion too!
