Sydney and Melbourne Fashion Festival have just finished, and now we are in our prime - get ready for Perth Fashion Festival.

To get you amped up and ready to go , I thought I would post a few photos / highlights from Sydney Fashion Week.

Snooki (Jersey Shore) + High Fashion!!! Worth the Read!

I just came across this article and it is so hilarious I have to write about it straight away!


Snooki, the 4ft 9in girl from MTV's Jersey Shore (Cmon, you must know who Im talking about, did it even need an explanation?OK Ill post a picture just in case you dont know)

Is the victim  of 'Unbranding" and "Demoting" other brands if you like.
High fashion house have been sending competitors bags to her! This bit is direct from The Observer. 


"Allegedly, the anxious folks at these various luxury houses are all aggressively gifting our gal Snookums with free bags. No surprise, right? But here's the shocker: They are not sending her theirown bags. They are sending her each other's bags! Competitors' bags!

Call it what you will — "preemptive product placement"? "unbranding"? — either way, it's brilliant, and it makes total sense. As much as one might adore Miss Snickerdoodle, her ability to inspire dress-alikes among her fans is questionable. The bottom line? Nobody in fashion wants to co-brand with Snooki."

I cant imagine why a high fashion label wouldn't want to be seen worn or on the arm of Snooki!

Does everyone understand whats happening here! Its going to make a bad name forthe brand if Snooki is wearing because, well she isnt the classiest or most stylish of ladies. I cant even call her a lady without having a bit of a laugh! 
Isnt this hilarious! Poor Snooki, haha I cant deny I have watched some episodes of it, and even got my ex-housemate absolutely hooked on it! 
Ohhh dear.


Clever anti-marketing though!
