Ok! ASOS wins again! I couldnt resist!
I saw this feather cape on sale ages ago but when I clicked on it, it was out of stock, oh well, I though. Ok I lied, I was slightly crushed and maybe a small tear came out.

However! I told myself no clothing or shoes for 30days and if I make it, ill treat myself with clothes :) Makes perfect sense. So I went online to check out what there was 'save some for later' type thing. Saw this cape again and when I placed it in my 'shopping bag' it was the last one!

I think that made my mind up and I had to buy it.


So, it doesnt count because I wanted it before I set my 30day rule.

No, really. If you havent been tempted before by this online giant I have half a mind to tell you to avoid it at all costs to save your wallet hating you for many months to come. Possibly years. However, the fashion loving side of me (actually, its both sides!) says you would be mad not to check it out! With the UK dollar so close to ours, their stellar range of designers and products and constant free shipping promo's and sales, often up to 70% off this really is a site worth visiting when your wallet is full and you dont know what to do with all that money. But you have been warned.

I am such a sucker for shoes and cant resist a Betts sale - please don't hold it against me!

It is about time I bought some new shoes though as my shoe collection has been looking dull as of late.

My Latest Purchase;

So I went shopping on the weekend, supposed to be Christmas shopping but that didn’t really happen :S

I bought;

The brown fringe sandals were only $10! And the other ones (which I bought with black buckes / straps were only $14.95) from Rubi shoes, who have a huge sandal sale on right now!

This skirt is not something I would usually get, as Im not a huge lace fan, however the neutral colours and 'dipped' effect caught my eye. I also bought these leggings, which are quite thick and you could easily wear them as pants, with black and silver sequin panels running down each side. Both of these were $9.95

I bought this batwing, button up cardigan, in 2 shades of grey (2 for $30). These are simple, easy to chuck over just a singlet and denim shorts, can go with everything and easily change plain tops. Cardigans like this are great for when you're sick of tee's you've worn and you feel as if you wear the same thing everyday.

 I got this black sleeveless cardigan - not something I would normally pick up but it was only $5! So why not, always buy staple items like this when you see them, it adds to your wardrobe because you can wear it in so many ways, and its not doing any damage to your wallet! 

I also bought 2 dresses online from Manikinn.com - remember me posting about their sale the other day? This hoodie dress is light fabric, not too long, and wearable with skinny jeans or over tights and wedges. Its casual and just a little bit different.

The other dress I got from Manikinn.com was this 'Plastic' look dress (also in grey!) cap sleeves, cowl neck can be belted and changed in so many ways.

I bought this Grecian jumpsuit from ASOS.com as well, so nice! I love jumpsuits but its hard to find ones that suit my figure. Make sure when you buy a jumpsuit - you buy it in the same style that you normally would. i.e. choose an empire line, or one that belts / ties in at the waist or at your hips, depending on what suits you. This was only $40.

I got this plain maxi dress as well in khaki, which pretty much is a blank canvas for accessories.

I also got this leotard, with mesh panels on the side, perfect to wear with so many things, a high waisted skirt, harem pants and more for $15.

I love ankle boots as well and could resist this $25 pair!

I also bought a royal blue maxi skirt and a white tee with a black collar but couldn’t find a picture of either of these :(

So all these items only cost me about $200 in total, when many people would spend that much on one dress! Which is fine of course, but this is the secret to my massive wardrobe.

If you are into fashion you should know these websites -  I recommend you go check them out – their prices aren’t crazy but just remember – they are not Aus dollars! So make sure you do a conversion before you go nuts!

I'm not even kidding, the page said, “click to continue and confirm payment on next page”...so I click ‘Continue’ (Not ‘pay now’ or ‘buy now’ or ‘confirm payment’) and it comes up saying

I was a little confused...and a little peeved. But then, hey who am I kidding, I'm sure I would have bought it.

I have been looking for a big corset belt for ages, think Ae’lkemi – 

you may have seen it rocked at Perth Fashion Festival this year. If you check out that post, you may have also noticed I mention how much I’ve been searching for a belt like that!

Fierce New Shoes!

OK so my latest buy on the weekend was a pair of sequin shoes. Big up-the-ankle- sequin shoes that buckle at the back.

Sounds crazy, but these shoes are FIERCE. I love them and wore them out Saturday night. I really should get into the practice of taking photos and posting them. Ill have to repeat the outfit just for all my dedicated readers.

So! I'm wearing them tonight to the launch (more details to follow).

They look like this: with the silver on one side and black on the other wise of the sequins.

They make me think of these Louis Vuitton shoes!

Although without the puffed out top, they have 3 buckles / thick straps at the back. Ill try and take some photos tonight. 

My Latest Purchase

On the weekend, as I was frantically searching for a dress for Saturday night, I saw a couple of cute tops that I couldn’t go past.

One is a military style knit cardigan, really cute and great for layering. Also, if you missed the memo – military is in this season :)

I also got a pair of grey shoes, I love this style of heels and they go with everything, you can wear them to work, you can wear them out, and they go  with everything. I have a pair in black as well, and wear them all the time. They’re really comfy as well. Also down from $80 to $20!! How can you go wrong? Ive paid more than $20 for lunch before.

I also bought another knit top that I lobe, in cream with sequins over one shoulder. I don’t have a photo of it though, its not on the site so ill have to take a photo some time.

Did anyone get the Sunday Times Magazine as well? Check out the feature on Chicago from the other night (and my lovely mug as well)

ALSO – I can’t seem to get my camera to connect to my computer! So ill have to re-install the software and try again, sorry! Its very annoying, but I will post photos as soon as I have them.

My Latest Purchase

I bought some nail art pens the other day, surprising I havnt seen them before! Ive had my eye out for ages, it's the sort of thing that if I saw, I would just buy on the spot! So bought some the other day, well 3. I bought one gold, one white and a black one. Classic simple colour because they will go with any colour...and I have a lot of colours!

So now I'm going to try and do some fancy designs haha, lets see how that turns out!? These (below) are so wild and crazy  - I am not even going to try and attempt to do something that ambitious! 

My Latest Purchase;

So I went into the city last weekend, and I haven’t been for ages because I'm trying to save up for Bali (which I leave for in a couple of weeks!) and bought a few things...

I went to Valleygirl, which has always been a favourite., they have a wide range of knock offs, and if you see something you like, they’re guaranteed to have some kind’ve version of it. Good place for cheap tops as well, they often have specials for about $14.95. I highly recommend you go here for ‘trend pieces’ stuff that is currently in season and may not last, it’s not pricey and...you don’t need it to last the years.

I bought a pencil skirt that is just like this although it has a paisley-type print on it. Its black as well, like glossy, so its sophisticated but something a little bit different, which means I can wear it in the office, but it’s not just the regular kind of black skirt you see every other corporate woman wear. Anyway! Enough about the skirt, it’s simple and nice for work.

I also bought a strapless dress which is a feat for me in itself, because I really don’t wear dresses! Its a bit too girly for me, and I don’t know, the dresses I do wear are not traditional empire line dresses, or cutesy A-line dresses or vintage numbers. I wear cocktail dresses and only when I have an event to wear it to!

This one I wore with a short sleeves, satin white satin blouse underneath the other day and it looked really good. I like the flare ion this as well, and the belt sits on the natural waist rather than the empire line, which suits me far more.

I also bought an enormous grey knit scarf, because I'm really into huge scarves at the moment! I couldn’t find a picture of it though, sorry. Its really warm as well, I'm pretty pleased with it!

Also, I finally went to SABA, and spent my voucher that I won a few weeks back (you may remember me posting about it, if you want deets, check it out here)

I bought a black trench coat, which is a mix between wool and angora. Something classic and a staple item which will probably last me years, because, we should all know this by now, THAT is what you should be splurging on, not the ‘at-the-moment’ trends. It was the last size 8 and I simply couldn’t walk away!

I also bought some really nice ankle boots from Temt but I cant find any images even remotely close! So ill get back to you 

New Camera

Just so you all know (not that this needed clarifying) but I am an amateur photographer. Believe it or not ladies and gents, I haven’t actually done any photography stuff at all, minus in school but that was about 5 years ago and definitely doesn’t count! BUT I have been getting rather sick of my small digital camera, good and sturdy as it may be, it is no longer a top of the range camera.

I have decided to get a good lens and digital camera by Canon to stop looking like a tourist when I go and photograph outfits or take photos of events! Anyway, this is what my camera looks like that I have bought. Again because I am not a professional photographer and don’t even know many any professional photographers, the specs of this mean nothing to me! However, I did do a bit of research (albeit, after a few vinos) and I think this is within the range that I'm looking for.

So, I went into the city yesterday and couldn't go past these shoes! There were 3 pairs and it took me about 20minutes to decide which one to get, but as I have already bought quite a bit in the last few days (and I'm trying to save for my trip to Bali next month) I decided I had to limit myself.
