Perth Fashion Events;

Melted Chocolate Photoshoots & Editorial

So I had 4 photoshoots, last week unfortunately the ones I remembered and took my camera to, I cant release photos for! Yet. One was Christmas themed, one included a short burlesque wig, one included 2litres of melted chocolate and the other was a ‘What To Wear’ for the Christmas season editorial.

Stay tuned, I’ll be sure to post them as soon as I can.

Cite Store - Great Perth Boutiques

One of the great boutiques who lent me clothing for the Calendar photo shoot on the weekend was Cite.

They are a great store – with a store in One40William – the new complex above the underground train station.

They have a great range of clothes (girls & Guys) and heaps of really cool stuff. I saw lots of people shopping there for Sterosonic which was yesterday – some good festival gear as well as dresses, jumpsuits, crop tops, cheeky shorts, maxi dresses and more.

They are currently running a competition as well – you can go to their store in Karrinyup, Carousel, Perth CBD or Whitfords.

Perth Street Fashion

Attention WA boutiques & designers!

Competition Alert – Perth Street Fashion / Ben Riches

The comp goes as follows; There is one for boutiques and one for designers / Take 3 photos of 3 different looks styled by the boutique or the designers own creation.

The photos will get uploaded and you will get a write up (email entries to ben@benriches.com) and the entries with the most votes wins! Simple.

The winner get a photo shoot with Ben Riches and hair & makeup artist Andrea Green. The photos will also be used in an advertorial.

Entries close 15^th July 2010 so get cracking!

Fashion TV Designer Awards!

FashionTV Designer Award!

Australia & New Zealand now have a chance to enter for the first time into this competition. There are three categories – swimwear, lifestyle & evening. All you have to do is enter photographs of your designs.

Winners wil be announced July 19^th so get on board if you think you have what it takes!

This could place you International Fashion circles, so well worth it!

You will also be in time to feature in the Perth Fashion Festival coming up later this year...

For my current assignment I have to do an image consultation for someone – body analysis, colour consultation and lessons in what colours, cuts and clothing suits their personal style.

Apex Australia Teenage Fashion Awards

Attention ladies (and gentlemen)!

To all aspiring fashion designers, make sure you enter this competition. You will need to be a student, between 13-19 and you have the chance for lots of new opportunities. Entry is only $30 which is not much for such a great chance!

There are four catergories

-Society & Environment

The heats are done by state and then the National competition held in Sydney in October this year.

There is a chance to show your garments at the Perth Fashion Festival and the chance to win a 2011 internship with them as well.

Lisa's Frock Swap

Attention Ladies!

Today is the last day to enter the 92.9 competition by Lisa – ‘Lisa’s Frock Swap’.
