Pippa McManus exhibition

Following her sell-out exhibition ‘A is for Arizona’ held at 140 last June, fashion illustrator Pippa McManus returns with her next collection of widely anticipated paintings entitled ‘With Flowers in Their Hair...’

Inspired by London Fashion Week, these girls are created around one theme, beautiful headpieces, including flowers, crowns, hats and veils.

Another international designer getting on board the 'diffusion' line trend by designing a more accessible range at a lower price point. Its 'Designer-For-Less". 

Roberto Cavalli has just released a capsule collection for Target - including dresses, tops, short, even shoes & swimwear are included. This range goes right up to a size 16 as well.

This is the Anataka Autumn /Winter 2012 campaign. 

I did some research to see who shot this and Ive listed full credits below.  Anataka (Im guessing you haven't heard of it) is a Polish womenswear designer. 

I really enjoy new & fresh ideas & styling and thought you might too!

Goodstead: Featured Site

The first thing that strikes me about Goodstead is their super cute home page;

The next is their layout when you go into one of their main menus. The features products and categories are set out really well with plenty of options to suit every shopper.

I love their colouring throughout their garments and somehow they have made their faceless model pictures look sweet not creepy.

This site is one for any vintage lovers - whimsical garments teamed with unique homewares that are sure to be conversation starters!

Their blog is worth a read as well - showcasing their photoshoots & loaded with info on their latest trends.

Christmas Unwrapped in the City: Designer applications now open!‏

Two Sundays: 9th & 16th December
12noon - 5pm, Forrest Place, Perth

You could be one of the lucky artists, designers & creatives selected to participate in this new collaboration between Unwrapped and the City of Perth.
On two Sundays, 60 stalls will trade in Forrest Place, each under a 3m x3m marquee space. Both events will be part of the City of Perth Christmas Program and will attract large crowds.

Whites Boutique is a great designer go-to site for those who are tired of their same old sites and are looking for something special & something new. 

I really love finding unique pieces that arent available in every store. I dont know about you but I very quickly get sick of shopping in Perth with the same old (often not very good quality) items in every single store. 

Even if you dont want to buy - its always good to be inspired by other garments from other places in the world and see something different. I always like to find one-offs and interesting pieces and mix and match them with the basics in my wardrobe to create interesting & stylish outfits.
