Craving hot weather, white sand, crystal blue water?

Yeah, me too. Sydney weather has been average, I'm definitely missing our crazy hot Perth Summers. 

To get you all in the mood, in case you aren't already- here's a recent campaign I styled for Cebiche Swimwear.

The designer is an amazing beach babe herself who lives and breathes the beachside lifestyle. I own a pair of these bikini's and I can truly say they are amazing! We had so much fun on this shoot, taking the boat over to Rottnest Island and spending the day there, topped off by the boat running out of fuel on the way back!

Spring Racing season is well and truly here and with that comes hordes of well dressed, stylish men. 


If your man is not included in this summary, please feel free to share this blog post with him. Yes, Im talking about the blokes who pull out their old and only suit from the back of the closet every time they have a special occasion.

The suit that doesnt quite fit them right but they never got alternations done on it and now that they've gained a few extra kilos after being well looked after (yes, Im referring to you ladies, cooking amazing meals for them because we all know we cant' let our men go hungry!) so they figure it might fit better now. Or the men that assume a belt will fix the fact that their waist measurement isn't correct. This is for you!

Theres no excuse any more for not using a little bit more creativity and hey, how easy is it to shop online now for that outfit you saw in that magazine your girlfriend loves.

Genesis is Australia's premium fashion event showcasing top emerging designers. Registration is now open to see this seasons talented labels.



The star studded event includes former Miss Universe Australia, Laura Dundovic who will be hosting the VIP night and Australia's Next Top Model Judge, Didier Cohen.

Each hand picked designer will present their unique collection on the runway whilst interacting with guests and buyers through their intimate designer booths.

Sydney based fashion entrepreneurs Marvin Osifo and Eti Amegor established Face Fashion in 2007. The aim was to provide a platform for fresh emerging labels to introduce themselves to the competitive Australian fashion industry.

Sass & Bide News

One of my favourite labels, Sass & Bide have recently relinquished a lot of their control as Myer buys out the rest of the brand.

Myer bought 65% of the brand in 2011 and has now bought the remainder as well. Such a shame to see another  designer step down from their label such as Collette Dinnigan and Alannah Hill recently. 

Although the duo will stay as brand director and creative director, I fear now this will mean the label will no longer produce as good quality pieces. Myer has suggested they will use this move to expand the label into other areas, which we can read as accessories, diffusion lines and other 'branded' items.



Unfortunately, its often these items that return the greatest profit, but it means the brand loses some of their exclusivity and uniqueness. 

Its very rare that a diffusion line is a true representation of a label and I haven't seen many work well before. 

In saying that, they are set to launch their very first international store in New York this month on November 20! Stay tuned, we wish them the best of luck!
