Last night I went to Chick Chat, with my friend Bec at
Rydges Hotel. SABA was the guest and showed off their great A/W 10 collection.
It was a really nice setting, nice night for it too which was good and great
food and wine. The models came through the crowd to show up some really nice
jackets boots and dresses for winter.
They has some sequins
and silver metallics as well as lots of blacks, greys and berry reds.
The SABA guest speaker said “If there's one thing you buy
this season, make it a winter coat. Layering is in. and team your outfits with
some flat equestrian boots. SABA has great quality denim as well with slim fit,
skinny jeans and the bootcut is back”
Scallops, squares of polenta, bacon-wrapped roasted vegetables
with aioli, chicken spoons and pork wontons were among the food served (I know,
makes you hungry). Red and white wine was pretty free flowing too, with really
nice waitresses.
