Sportsgirl Swap!

Girls, get your old clothes out that you no longer wear, if you missed the swishing event by Vintage Vixens & Vamps on Sunday (see previous posts), there is another chance to get involved in re-vamping your wardrobe with some new items. Another event supporting charity and a great way to exercise that inner bargain hunter we all have =)

Swap Shops are the latest trend among the seriously style savvy to give your unworn or pre-loved clothes a new life, score some amazing finds, and have bunch of fun doing it! That's why we were super keen to get together with the lovelies from Swap My Style to host Sportsgirl Swap Shops around Oz!

Book your tickets now!

Here’s how it works:

♥ Raid your wardrobe and bring along up to 5 pre-loved items (no older than 1 year) you love but just don’t wear anymore, which are valued at a minimum of $30

♥ Bring them along to the Sportsgirl Swap Shop near you

♥ Exchange your clothes for a token - they range in value from $30 to $100 so you’ll go home with a gorgeous find of the same value as the one you swapped.

♥ Get ready for a luxe fashion swap-a-rama and some good old fashioned girlie fun!

The Swap Shops will be held at Sportsgirl stores, and to amp up the awesomeness factor, we’re giving all Swappers the opportunity to nab gorge Sportsgirl items at 15% off!

All ticket sales will be donated to the Butterfly Foundation, and any left over items will be donated to The Social Studio, an amazing organisation that uses the skills of the young refugee community to create original clothing from recycled and excess manufacturing materials. It’s gorgeousness, good times and generosity all in one!

I'm a big fan of Sportgirl’ especially after they allowed some bloggers to take over their visual merchandising, and create some displays for themselves. Its good to see that stores like this recognise how great all us fashion bloggers are! There are so many bloggers out there with loads of talent and style and its good to see that being put to good use!
